Skopje, March 28 — Daylight saving time in Macedonia this year begins on March 31, at 2 AM, so by moving one hour forward, the time at 2 AM is considered as 3 AM. Hence, on Sunday the sun will rise at 6:18 AM and the sun will set at 6:59 PM.
Daylight saving time ends on October 27 at 3 AM. The time zone used in Macedonia is Central European Time, that is, Central European Summer time.
The Government says that the introduction of daylight saving time is in line with national law and European directives.
