The Youth Cultural Center will be the first cultural institution to offer access to free menstrual products

Skopje, May 23 — The Youth Cultural Center (MKC) in Skopje will be the first public cultural institution to offer free access to menstrual products.

This step is an initiative of the women's movement 'Tiiit! Inc.'. Together with the French Embassy, they will set up dispensaries for free access to menstrual pads as the main focus of their event which will be held at the MKC on the occasion of International Menstrual Hygiene Day.

The center will host the #FirstMenstruation event on May 27 from 6 pm to 10:30 with a program informing about the importance of menstrual equity, that is, how to finally eradicate menstrual poverty.

The entry fee is a pack of menstrual pads or a monetary donation.
