Skopje, November 22 — Skopje and Macedonia are expecting a significant drop in daily temperatures from Saturday.
The National Hydrometeorological Service (NHMS) announced that in Macedonia there will be a significant change in the weather on Saturday, with heavy rain, changing to snow in some lower areas in the afternoon.
"A stronger northerly wind will blow and temperatures will drop more significantly”," the NHMS/UHMR announced.
According to The Weather Channel, the temperature in Skopje will drop to a maximum of 6 degrees Celsius on Saturday and to -2 degrees Celsius in the afternoon - a temperature below zero for the first time this winter. Light snowfall is expected on Saturday night, with a 90% chance of snow and an expected accumulation ranging from 2 to 3 cm.
The very following day, Sunday, the maximum temperature will be 5 degrees Celsius and the afternoon low will be -7 degrees. The following days, more stable temperatures will follow, except on Monday, that is, from 5 to 7 degrees maximum temperature.
