New direct flight from Skopje to Larnaca launches on October 31

Skopje, May 24 — Starting October 31, 2025, a new direct air route will connect Skopje with Larnaca, Cyprus, the Minister of Transport and Communications, Aleksandar Nikoloski, announced today on his official Facebook page.
According to Macedonian media, the low-cost airline Wizz Air will operate the route.
The flight is being reinstated after being discontinued for four years, following its suspension during the pandemic.
This new connection marks the 11th direct route introduced in the past 10 months and is part of the second public call for subsidizing airline routes.
