Macedonian passport allows visa-free travel to 130 destinations

Skopje, July 23 — The Macedonian passport is ranked 38th in the world, granting visa-free access to 130 destinations worldwide, according to the latest report by the consultancy firm Henley & Partners.

Among neighboring countries, Greece ranks the highest at 5th place, with passport holders enjoying visa-free access to 187 destinations. It is followed by Bulgaria, ranked 13th with access to 177 destinations, Serbia at 34th place with 138 destinations, and Albania, ranked 43rd with 122 destinations. Kosovo is ranked 61st, with its citizens able to travel visa-free to 82 destinations.
The highest-ranked passport in the world is Singapore, with a visa-free score of 193. At the bottom of the list is Afghanistan, with access to just 25 destinations.
The Henley Passport Index compares the visa-free access of 199 passports to 227 travel destinations. The index, as they state, is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) – the largest, most accurate travel information database, and enhanced by Henley & Partners’ research team.
