First electric car-sharing service launches in Skopje

Skopje, May 27 — The first electric car-sharing service has launched in Skopje. A total of 100 vehicles from the Slovenian company Avant2Go will initially be available for rent in Skopje.


To use the vehicles, among the other things, you need to download the Avant2Go mobile app (Play Store / App Store), register, and activate the service by purchasing a package, currently available only as the Go Early Bird offer for 1,500 MKD*. At first, the cars will be available at parking lots in the municipalities of Čair, Gazi Baba, Aerodrom, and Kisela Voda. In the future, they are expected to expand across all Skopje municipalities and to other cities as well.


Avant2Go vehicles are charged based on both time and distance. Prices range from 5 to 6 denars per minute during the day and 2 to 3 denars per minute at night, plus 22 denars per kilometer. The minimum rental price ranges from 149 to 199 denars, while the maximum is between 1,490 and 1,990 denars, depending on the vehicle.

Reserving a vehicle is free for the first 15 minutes, while extending the reservation for an additional 15 minutes costs 120 MKD.
