Info from VCS website: "SOUP is a model that was created a few years ago in Detroit, USA, and is now practiced in almost 200 cities around the world. It's like a crowd funding from the community to the community, that's giving a chance to the locals to get to know and support each others. Joining a SOUP is open for everyone! The concept is quite simple, and offers an opportunity for citizens to take part in creating a better society".
